With 20 years experience teaching and facilitating art education programs, classes, workshops for children and teens, Altesa effectively combines her training as an Actor and degree in Social Work to observe and celebrate humanity. Altesa's unhinged creativity, down to earth and direct approach breeds an environment where everyone is empowered to follow their creative passions while being their unique selves.
Altesa's professional and personal background includes performance as an Actor, Storyteller and Writer, Homeschool mom to 2 boys (8 and 11ys old), Entrepreneur, Co Founder/ CEO of Estory Productions and a private Acting Coach.
She earned her MFA in Acting from the Actor's Studio Drama School, NYC and BA in Social Work from Rutgers University, NJ.
In addition to acting, she currently provide art education classes for youth at libraries and community art centers across Los Angeles as well as online while working on the final stages of a children's picture book about the strange normalcy of sibling rivalry.
